These terms apply to all stays at River Stone Villa, Kasol. Please read them before booking. If the terms shown to you at the time of booking differ from this page, the terms shown at booking apply to that reservation.
Booking and payment
- Rates are per suite, per night. Applicable GST and any other charges are shown before you pay.
- Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. You will receive a confirmation by email.
- We accept credit and debit cards, UPI and net banking through our secure payment partner.
- Where a partial payment option is offered, the remaining balance is payable at or before check-in.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in from 1:00 PM. Check-out by 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability and may be chargeable. Please ask in advance.
Guests and identification
- Each suite accommodates up to 6 guests. The base rate includes 2 adults; additional guests are charged as shown at the time of booking.
- The primary guest must be at least 18 years old.
- All adult guests must show a valid government photo ID at check-in, such as Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID. Local IDs are accepted.
- Foreign nationals must present a valid passport and visa, as required for Form C registration.
- Unmarried couples are welcome with valid ID.
- Groups made up of male guests only are not accepted.
- We may refuse check-in if valid ID is not provided, in which case the booking is treated as a no-show.
Cancellations and refunds
- More than 7 days before check-in: full refund of the amount paid, less any non-refundable payment processing charges.
- Within 7 days of check-in, or no-show: the amount paid is non-refundable.
- Early departure: no refund is given for unused nights.
- Special offers or rates marked non-refundable follow the terms shown at booking.
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, usually within 7 to 10 working days.

Changing your booking
Date changes can be requested up to 7 days before check-in and depend on availability. Any difference in rate for the new dates will apply.
Weather and events beyond our control
Travel in the Parvati Valley can be affected by landslides, heavy snow, road closures or government orders. If we cannot host your stay for these reasons, we will offer new dates or a full refund. If you cannot reach us because of such events, please contact us and we will do our best to help with new dates.
House rules
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, out of respect for other guests and neighbours.
- Smoking is not permitted indoors.
- Illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Any breach will lead to the stay being ended without refund.
- Bonfires are lit only in the designated garden area with our staff, and depend on weather and local rules.
- Guests may cook vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals in their suite’s kitchen.
- Visitors who are not registered guests need our prior permission.
- Pets: please check with us before booking.
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings or equipment during their stay.
Safety
The Parvati River has strong, cold currents. Please do not enter the water, and supervise children near the riverbank at all times. Activities outside the villa are at your own risk. Please keep valuables with you; we are not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
